Christopher J. Copeland, D.O.
Dr. Christopher Copeland is a graduate of Colorado State University. He received his medical degree in 2000 from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Copeland completed his orthopedic surgical training at the South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed a one year fellowship training in sports medicine and orthopedic foot and ankle surgery in Phoenix, Arizona.
He joined Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in 2006, and is a team physician for Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. He is active in medical education, community outreach programs, and treating regional athletes.
Dr. Copeland is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and enjoys sports medicine with a special interest in lower-extremity arthroscopic surgery; total joint replacement; and knee, ankle, and foot reconstruction surgery.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family camping, fishing, hunting, and hiking the great outdoors.
