General Orthopedics

General orthopedics involves the comprehensive and coordinated treatment of a vast array of musculoskeletal conditions. Whether a case is routine or extremely complex and rare, general orthopedists have undergone extensive training in order to address a full spectrum of disorders that may affect the bones, joints, cartilage, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. From the evaluation and management of degenerative diseases like arthritis to fracture care and complex surgical cases, the services provided by general orthopedic surgeons are variable yet individualized to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.

As the foundation of the orthopedic profession the physicians of Western Orthopedic and Sports Medicine have been extensively trained in general orthopedic conditions and treatments. A number of our physicians have additional training in a variety of subspecialty areas, but as a core all provide care and treatments in general orthopedics. Utilizing the latest in both operative and non-operative techniques, the ultimate goal of our physicians is to ensure that patients receive outstanding orthopedic care for their musculoskeletal condition and experience restored or improved quality of life.
